Default Best Game RPG Characters!!
First lets stick to Fantasy settings here.

I would like to know...

1) Who is the strongest or most capable of beating others in a 1 vs 1 fight
2) Who has the best gear/weapons/armor/pets/ect...
3) Who looks coolest or has the best looking moves/attacks/spells.

Top of the list for me is ALUCARD from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.


He is extremely tough. With the power to transform into Poison Mist(making himself invulnerable while still dealing damage) a Bat (complete with echo radar that damages foes and fireballs) and a Wolf ( high speed travel and a nasty bite) hes a force to recon with. When you factor in all his weapons, and he has some very awsome weapons, most of which have special abilities that range from Vampiric to sumoning a horde of allies he becomes that much harder to beat.

But its not over yet! He still has more Magic power to draw upon when using such staples as Holy Water, a Cross, a Dagger, an Axe and more items each with some unique power.

And still more! He has some exteme magic spells he can cast such as Dark Metamorphisis (think Vampiric Aura) Hell Fire (teleport then launch fireballs) and the powerfull Soul Steal ( suck health out of all foes on screen) just to name a few!

Lets not forget his PETS either. His Demon, Fairy, Ghost, Bat and Sword Familiar are all deadly allies that can help him deal damage or heal him when needed.

Did I mention just how cool he looks with his armor and cape, even wielding a sword and shield he is practically the COOLEST looking character I have ever played.

Who would you pick?

1.Cloud

He totally owned sephiroth in advent children, nuff said.

2.Sephiroth, his sword is awesome.

Final Fantasy isn't a role-playing game, it's an interactive story.

The reason why I can't think of my favorite Role-playing game character - in a true RPG, the character you create is the main character. Thus, your favorite character would naturally be the one you made.

...I'd have to say Catherine Gryphonheart from MM7/MM8/HoMM3, though. Awesome armor, she's the queen of Enroth (Erathia? I dunno), and if I recall correctly she retook Steadwick from the Kreegans in Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Then again I haven't played through the whole HoMM3 storyline yet, so some of this stuff might be off.

Pretty much anyone from Baldur's Gate 2 and/or Mass Effect. But I think this wins more than anything else. *#%@ yeah!

Alucard is sick as hell, though. Male Shep, too, but he looks like a Vanguard in that pic.
